Goods that Matter
Tippy Tippens is the Founder and Chief Eternal Optimist of Goods that Matter. She is a social entrepreneur, designer, and educator who is passionate about building sustainable and equitable growth; making the objects that we live with, work for us instead of against us; and fighting climate change.
Goods that Matter creates everyday design goods, with extraordinary impact. They provide a trusted home for eco-conscious customers to purchase the highest quality, eco-friendly, handmade-in-America goods for everyday use. Each Matter product is handmade in the U.S., of eco-friendly materials, & gives back to unique social and environmental causes.
Every product is sustainably made, regionally sourced, and raises awareness and funding for a group working on a social need at hand. The business is focused on creating new, healthy markets that contribute intelligently to our communities. The Matters team likes to put their heart and soul into their creations and believes that the products should work for us instead of the other way around.
10% of all proceeds flow to causes that impact the health, happiness, and sustainability of our communities both locally and for our neighbors around the world.
They are proud to be the first Benefit Corporation in the state of Louisiana and to have donated $31,118 to date to our partner causes! Goods that Matter works to make the world a better place by creating products and collaborations that matter.
